Is anyone building desktop or tablet solutions for this market? I prefer #FOSS, but I’d happily purchase something that guarantees simplicity and stable, unchanging UX.

Ah, yes, incredible.
Logi Options is literally the worst part of using a Logitech mouse. Sometimes it just doesn’t load properly on boot (usually when it has upgraded itself) and then mouse tracking doesn’t work right until you manually launch it.
But you can’t use the mouse without it, because #macOS still has incredibly weird mouse tracking if you aren’t using an #Apple mouse.

Hochfrequenz (HF) geht manchmal Merkwürdige Wege, Ich sach nur Schmutz-Gleichrichtung, nur mal so als Beispiel. War früher das Phänomen der Sprechenden Teekessel, Halbleiter ähnliche Phänomene bei Amplituden Modulations Signalen.

This took a couple of days to figure out how to boot custom code and even get away from Open Firmware’s tight clutches.

Been using a #Mac for about five years now, after many years of using #Windows
Although there are many things I like about #Apple devices, there are still a few quirks that annoy me.
Finder in #macOS is pretty rubbish, and the modality of pop-up windows for file browsing is very irritating - I want to be able to move the window out of the way sometimes to see text etc behind it. Navigation from these file save windows is also a bit rubbish.
