what is the best #mastodon #app for #iOS ?
At the moment I‘m using Mastodon from the Mastodon GmbH, but it seems like there are some features missing (e.g. The ability to change when your posts are deleted) and I sometimes encounter problems with loading my feed.
Any recommendations?

I find the main app is clunky and slow. I’m currently trying out Bubble which is clean and minimal, feels kinda like the Threads design which is a design I like.
So I guess I want a minimalistic design and for it to be responsive and fast on loading feeds. Any suggestions?

I can’t recommend this app enough. Brings me delight every day to easily go through all the photos taken on a given day, grouped by most recent to oldest year.

In den Wi-Fi-Einstellungen gibt es ein Feature mit dem Namen Connectivity Assist (früher Wi-Fi Assist). Das "hilft" bei schlechten Wi-Fi-Verbindungen, Daten über das Mobilfunknetz zu laden. So weit, so gut. Wenn man aber absichtlich Adserver oder -tracker unerreichbar macht, wie etwa mit Pihole, dann umgeht das iPhone diese Blockade einfach und zieht die Tracker trotzdem an.

We also added a setting to enable/disable double tap to like and made some other improvements and bug fixes.
The update is already out on GitHub. Play Store, F-Droid and the App Store will follow soon.

Gahh, I really want to like both @openvibe and @Iconfactory's #Tapestry but both have issues:
#Openvibe seemingly doesn't allow you to switch from your post being 'Public' to 'Followers Only' (if Mastodon is the only enabled service)
And Tapestry doesn't pull in filters that I have already created, requiring me to set them up again from scratch.
Is there an app that allows me to view both #Mastodon and #BlueSky on #iOS that would do this?
There are clearly many reasons why people are switching to Vivaldi. Interestingly, my little survey shows that the top reasons have more to do with our values than particular features.
The #1 reason (77%) is the fact that we do not have built in AI. #2 is that we do not build profiles on our users (67%). #3 is that we are made in Europe. #4 and #5 is that we do not build in Crypto currencies and the built in ad and tracker blocker.
We will continue to listen to our users. We have chosen a different path to our competitors and we continue to try to do the right thing.

Die neue „Verbindungshilfe“ in iOS 27 könnte ein Datenschutzproblem sein: Wenn Safari bei nicht erreichbaren Ressourcen vom WLAN auf Mobilfunk ausweicht, können Dienste dasselbe Gerät gleichzeitig über Festnetz- und Mobilfunk-IP sehen.
Tracker können so vermutlich noch leichter geräteübergreifendes Tracking durchführen und damit Bewegungsprofile erstellen etc.

Here we are in the Year of Our Lord iOS 27, and Apple is still using the sound from a 35mm film camera motor drive to indicate that you've captured an image.
Does anyone born within the last 25 years even know what a motor drive is? Canon had VERY pricey one that could do 10fps. Your iPhone captures DOZENS of images the instant you open the camera app, waits for you to touch the capture button, then stacks exposures for the perfect image.
