At the moment, the #freeSoftware community is concentrated on the wealthy parts of society, mainly in EU and US.
Because AI is expensive in the profane, pecuniary sense of the word, as users have to buy either tokens or GPUs and RAM, it amplifies this imbalance.
Maybe LLMs or newer, better AI, that is not LLMs, will become cheap at some point. But we can't know.
