I have now started two projects, to collect verified accounts by the media that are bridged via #BridgyFed and media in the #Fediverse but not on #Mastodon, @Threads or #Flipboard.
But with both, I need help: Please, if you know of accounts, that fit in both categories then send me a handle.
My goal is a big spreadsheet with alle accounts by media organizations in the #Fediverse, that you can filter by software or sort by "last active" & more.

Many people, unfortunately, do not read legal documentation. It has become human nature to simply click "OK, I agree".
If more folks did read their terms of services, you would know word-based domain name extensions are not managed the same way as normal with the protection of ICANN.
As it stands now, if Donald Trump really lost his mind, he could shut down much of the Fediverse.

Unser monatliches Treffen zum Kennenlernen, Netzwerken und Quatschen.
Die Datenpunks sind ein Zusammenschluss von verschiedensten Wesen, die das Ziel vereint, Netzaktivismus über die übliche, digitalaffine Zielgruppe hinaus sichtbar zu machen.
Dabei setzen wir folgende Schwerpunkte:
- Policy-Arbeit in den Bereichen Datenschutz, digitale Bürgerrechte sowie freie Netze und offene Software
- regelmäßige, auf verschiedenste Kenntnislevel zugeschnittene Vorträge und Workshops zu den Themen digitale Souveränität und Digitalpolitik inklusive „Train the Trainers“-Programm
- Platzierung unserer Themen auf der Straße, in der Presse und auf Konferenzen
- Betrieb und die Erklärung von frei nutzbarer Netzinfrastruktur, insbesondere dezentraler Social Media Anwendungen wie dem Fediverse
- Bündnisarbeit mit verschiedensten Organisationen und Zusammenschlüssen, die uns durch gemeinsame Ziele verbunden sind
Dabei wollen wir uns deutlich von Organisationen in der Szene abgrenzen, die eine diffuse Angst vor Technik bei den Bürger*innen schüren und durch diese Empörungsbewirtschaftung Reichweite und finanzielle Mittel generieren.
Für diese Arbeit inspiriert uns die anti-kommerzielle, anti-bürgerliche und generell anarchische Grundhaltung der Punkbewegung in den 70er und 80er Jahren, die Solarpunk-Bewegung sowie folgende Maximen:
- wir wollen Daten so erzeugen und nutzen, dass unser Leben auf der Erde besser wird, ohne dass sie abbrennt
- „Niemand ist frei, bis wir alle frei sind.“ – Martin Luther King
- „Faschismus ist keine Meinung, sondern ein Verbrechen.“ – Vereinigung der Verfolgten des Naziregimes – Bund der Antifaschistinnen und Antifaschisten
- „Datenschutz, Feminismus, Antifaschismus, Arbeitskampf und auch Klimagerechtigkeit gehen Hand in Hand!“ – Kasiandra Richmond

I'm not asking for follows... rather I'm asking for you to help me shout out into the ether that I'M looking for people to follow. My main interests are going to be hashtagged below.
By the way, the way hashtags work here is that currently, if I search, I only see what my server is already knows about... which would mean just the folks I follow, since I'm a single-user instance. Not very helpful 😂
I will also be using one of my apps that can load the main feed from other servers, to see if I see something interesting. If you see a follow from me and come here to check me out... I mean you no harm and I come in peace.

I wanted to share some feedback on the documentation provided in the Highlighting Journalism on Mastodon blog post.
Specifically, in The technical section, the example code for the fediverse:creator meta tag is given as:

Did anyone ever manage to get fediverse.space running again? I mean the underlying software that shows the interconnections between servers.
I found this really cook when I started with the #fediverse, but it stopped working after a while.
