"There Will Come Soft Rains" 's title was a nod to Sara #Teasdale's "There Will Come Soft Rains," written in 1918 in reflection of the losses of the First World War and the influenza pandemic, and premised that the natural world would barely register humanity's disappearance.
Here's a pdf link, in case you'd like to reread it. It, in my opinion, is among the best short stories every written. (Granted, I'm a Bradbury fan girl.)

Solarpunk Magazine announced that they suspect two stories from their last issue were a) written by the same person and b) were done using AI. Reflecting on that issue, I felt like there was something off about the two stories. They felt like they lacked some spark. The stories felt too similar. Like they were solarpunk pastiches with just the right mix of elements to make it recognizable.
Additionally, I tried looking up one of the authors and I found almost no footprint anywhere online. An author with zero social media or online presence?! Possible in this sort of community but highly unlikely to have NOTHING.
Great that they magazine took accountability for it and I hope to read more wonderful, human created stories about the future.

No por el género o la factura, sino por el asunto que trata. Que lo hace con la espectacularidad y poca credibilidad normales en producciones de Hollywood, pero aun así resulta un futuro muy verosímil, al menos en ese país.
La premisa es muy fantasiosa a priori: un proyecto piloto de inclusión de la #IA en el sistema judicial estadounidense, de forma que se asigna a cada acusado una probabilidad de culpabilidad según las pruebas e indicios, y a partir de cierto porcentaje muy alto es el propio agente de IA el que juzga al acusado en un plazo de hora y media, que es el tiempo que tiene para demostrar su inocencia, o al menos bajar ese porcentaje.
Muy de ciencia-ficción. Pero recordemos que los magnates tecnológicos de Silicon Valley ya han hablado abiertamente varias veces sobre la idoneidad y necesidad de trasferir el cometido de juzgar a la IA, y están haciendo lobby para ello.
