wenn ich etwas recherchiere suche ich mindestens drei Quellen, weil keine ist perfekt. Aber trotzdem finde ich #Wikipedia TOP. Es ist klar und verständlich formuliert und meistens meine erste Quelle 👍👍👍
Du hast recht. Gleichzeitig zeigen diese Kommentare aber auch, dass die Leute eigentlich eine hohe Meinung von der Wikipedia haben und sie interessieren sich dafür, was aus der Wikipedia wird.
Die Prozesse mögen auch sinnvoll sein, um eine komplexe, globale Community zu steuern. Aber - vielleicht liegt es am MediaWiki als technische Basis für ALLES - die Prozesse sind nicht besonders zugänglich oder transparent. Warum kann man überhaupt auf falsche Art einen Artikel anlegen? Das muss doch zu Frust führen? Warum kommt man da offenbar nicht automatisch in den Wideraufnahme-Prozess? "Dieser Artikel wurde schon einmal angelegt und wegen fehlender Relevanz gelöscht. Sollte sich daran etwas geändert haben, reiche den Artikel mit einer Begründung hier ein." #Wikipedia

Wenn das Projekt am Ende wegen fehlender Mitarbeit stirbt und es keinen Ort im Internet für verlässliche Informationen mehr gibt (denn bis dahin ist alles andere vermutlich nur noch KI-generierter Slop), dann ist das Geheule groß. So weit darf es nicht kommen.
Mit der Wikipedia ist es mit der Demokratie. Wenn man will, dass es besser wird, muss man sich engagieren. Vom Schlechtmachen wird es nicht besser. 2/2
