I wonder what PHP would win if the codebase was rewritten entirely in Rust.
My bet? Given the Rust ecosystem, we would be months away of truly async, green threads, non blocking IO, and a complete performant web server implementation.

Vielleicht goutiert ja die eine oder der andere einen anderen Erkläransatz zum Verhältnis "Mastodon" und "Fediverse", den ich heute an anderer Stelle veröffentlicht habe:
Du bist in die Stadt "Mastodon" gezogen, die im Land "Microblogging" liegt. Und dieses Land ist wie andere Länder (z.B. "Macroblogging" oder auch "Videostreaming") Teil des Kontinents "Fediverse". Andere Kontinente heißen "WWW" oder "eMail". Draußen auf hoher See gibt es noch einige größere und kleinere Inseln ohne Landverbindung ("Instagram", "Facebook", "TikTok" oder die Krawall-Insel "Xitter"), aber zu denen halten wir im Fediverse gerne Abstand, weil es dort immer wieder zu Epidemien mit hirnfressenden Mikroben und explosionsartigen Vermehrungen von unappetitlichen Ratten kommt.
Ich suche einen Begriff, wer kann helfen?
Ich suche nach dem Gegenteil von Doomscrolling. Mir geht es bei der (fast) täglichen Lektüre meiner Fediverse-Timeline nämlich so, dass ich mich von einer amüsanten Geschichte zum nächsten interessanten Fakt hangele - alles Sachen, die die Lebensfreude beflügeln und die Stimmung heben.
Offensichtlich folge ich einer guten Mischung von postenden Mitmenschen. Natürlich sind auch nichtige oder ein paar langweilige Beiträge dazwischen. Aber dass mich etwas komplett herunterzieht, gar den Wunsch nach mehr Seelenpein auslöst: Nix da.
Also welcher Begriff bezeichnet dieses Gegenteil von Doomscrolling?
Las redes sociales cuestan dinero, como todo lo que se aloja en internet. El debate aquí está en dos puntos:
¿Queremos apoyar un modelo de redes sociales donde se busque cubrir costes o donde se busque el beneficio económico?
¿Queremos pagar el precio con transparencia y dinero contante y sonante, o no pagar dinero, pero pagar con no sabemos hasta cuántos datos y cómo nos repercute?
