The first one people think of is probably the mountain lion, and the one people are most likely to encounter is the bobcat (pictured below, who I ran across in Point Reyes, CA). Common blue during today’s waddle
Last night I saw a couple of bats again, flitting about between the trees and lamp light near an urban footpath.
I took a friend to watch with me and they were impressed until a bat buzzed the top of their head.
Ever since they've been worried that a bat might have bitten them. That's unlikely in the UK tho, isn't it?
