Das Schattenbad ist ein denkmalgeschützter, in Holzbauweise ausgeführter historischer Badeplatz am Thunersee, erbaut um 1927. Es ist im Bauinventar des Kantons Bern als erhaltenswerte Anlage eingetragen und repräsentiert einen seltenen Typus einfacher, kommunaler Seebäder der Zwischenkriegszeit. Nach einer Brandstiftung im Jahr 2019 wurde das Kulturgut 2020 unter Begleitung der kantonalen Denkmalpflege originalgetreu wiederhergestellt.
