Es ist Heidelbeerenzeit. Während den Wanderungen in den Bergen kommt man aktuell immer wieder an Sträuchern voller Heidelbeeren vorbei. Nach einer kühlen Nacht hat sich Morgentau gebildet, welcher sich nun an den Beeren festhält. Dadurch sind die Beeren quasi für den Verzehr frisch gewaschen.
It’s blueberry season. When out hiking in the mountains, you keep coming across bushes full of blueberries at the moment. After a cold night, morning dew has formed and is now clinging to the berries. This means the berries are basically freshly washed and ready to eat.

Last night I saw a couple of bats again, flitting about between the trees and lamp light near an urban footpath.
I took a friend to watch with me and they were impressed until a bat buzzed the top of their head.
Ever since they've been worried that a bat might have bitten them. That's unlikely in the UK tho, isn't it?
