I guess Scotland will be my homeland in my heart forever, despite being French, for many reasons. One of them is the unique mood that glows from the Highlands. Time seems to be at halt and our eyes can’t help but to be amazed by the surrounding beauty.

The Narrows
El Malpais National Monument, NM

So named as there was a narrow path for early travelers between the tall cliff and the hazardous lava fields of the Malpais. State highway 117 now follows this gap running north/south. Uncharacteristic overcast skies the day I passed through.

"Green hills"

Landscape isn't my forte. I am not living in the most pictoresque place to be honest, still, there is some beauty found in the little things. This picture is actually slightly blurry, not that I think its noticeable on these platforms, but this picture couldn't be printed because of that. I tried to push the sliders in #darktable quite a bit here, maybe to much to be honest, its not like I was aiming for a specific style, more that this more vivid than life felt kinda right, so here we are. Not the greatest art, not the greatest place..but a moment captured.
