We're out for walkies again. 😊 The weather is nice enough, with a lovely waning 🌖 moon...

I did my best at the gym, as much as my leg allowed. I rode 35 minutes and then enjoyed the massage chair for ten. I was earlier, so it was busier. Which wasn't too good, but my music and phone helped to distract me. 😊

Today should be a decent enough day. I need to finish my journal post, but that's almost done already. I wanna build the laptop table that I bought yesterday. And I want to change the curtains in the bedroom. The old curtains will need a wash, and then I hope that I can make a friend happy with them...

I need some groceries today, and I'll have my PT. I can discuss the upcoming surgery then. And, hopefully, my PT will know something that could help my annoying elbow...

If the weather will allow, and if Arwen is interested, I'd like to take her to the Herperduin again. I know she really loves it... it's such a joy to watch her have a good time there.

We're out again. Arwen is going slowly, so we're taking our time. There's no hurry, although sometimes I do need to move a bit...

I've made the GoFundMe for Arwen tonight. It feels so werid to write about needing help after her passing, when she's still here, walking and sniffing in front of me... but I need to be realistic, no matter how hard it is... It won't get any easier...

Today should hopefully be a decent day... Depending on the weather and Arwen, I may take hee to the Herperduin again this morning. If all goes well, I should be going to Ikea with a friend this morning. We know what we need, so we won't be away too long, or so I hope... Don't want Arwen to be alone too long...

There is a beautiful moon again tonight, so I tried to capture her again...

I have received the first donation to my GoFundMe, which was very generous, so of course that made me sob again... 😢 I'm such any emotional mess at the moment. If that person is from Masto, I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart

Let's see if I can write a bit for my blog... I need some distraction... And I'll keep hugging Arwen every chance I get.

SniffiVerse™ walkies Toot

Ello frens and fans of Arwen

Early SniffiVerse™ walkies, as I was up earlier. And I didn't get to use the massage chair, so yeah... I did enjoy brekky, and I took a snap of the full 🌕 moon, in time it seems, as now it's hiding behind some clouds...

It's warm! 15°C, with a real feel of about 13. We could be getting some rain tonight... It would be very welcome for the nature, as we've not had rain for quite some time...

I've been playing around with OSM, to use instead of maps. I've gotten some of the paid upgrades to try it out some more. Heck, I don't mind paying a bit (but not too much, I'm not that rich) to support something that's not bad business.... So I guess now I'll need to use it more to get more used to the functions and all that. I kinda "grew older" while using Maps, and it has it's flaws, but it's also saved me from getting lost a few times... 😇 I always liked that it was easy to find stores and their opening times, so I wonder how OSM works with that... But I guess I'll find out as I'll use it more...

The moon is very lovely and bright tonight, when it gets a chance to shine through the clouds...

So today, if weather and Arwen will allow well have a shorter walk now, and then I'll take her to the Herperduin again when it gets light. Just her and me, enjoying each other's company. And Arwen will, hopefully, enjoy the sniffs and splashes again....

And then I'll have to wait for mum to contact me, so Arwen and I can head to Nijmegen. I'll drop Arwen at my dad's and I'll get mum's parking 🅿️ card, so I can hopefully park close to pick her up from the hospital... I wish the hospital would work with a decent time schedule so that I could plan.... But yeah... We all know how hospitals "work" 😂....

I'll need to remember to ask dad if they have a shovel that I could borrow, as the one I've been using is back with the neighbor again. I looked for a decent one (as we have a clay based ground, so it needs to be sturdy enough), but damn, they're not cheap... So if my parents have one that they don't need at the moment... It could mean that I could get more weeds out when weather and health allow... but... Not that weed! 😂

There's also some chores that I still wanna do in the house. So, if weather sucks this morning, maybe I can get myself to do one of those at least... As I've been bullying myself over it for not doing them...

Owww it's Saturday night, and tonight it means that there are a lot of cars on the roads. Of course we're earlier than usual but still... Those new "white" headlights sometimes do blind me... OK, I have very sensitive eyes, doesn't take too much to blind me, but still...

Ow, that being said... I do hope that they'll contact me soon about the sunglasses that dad and I ordered last Monday. I think the wait time was between 10-14 days, as it's a special order of course, but that doesn't mean that I don't hope that they may be sending them a bit earlier...

Sorry, babbling here.... 🫣 Anywhoooo.... Let's see if I can write a bit for my blog again. I got a very sweet reaction to my last post, about Arwen and me... It was really touching, so thanks for that!

Ello frens and fans of Arwen

We're back on another walkies together . I got back to a clean house, and Arwen didn't want to head out first thing, so that's a plus.

It's 7°C, with a real feel of about 6. It's still dry, but they think we may (finally) get some rain on Sunday. As much as I prefer dry walkies, the rain would be welcome for nature. Although I fear the weeds may come back with a vengeance then. 😂

I'm planning on walking the shorter round with Arwen now, and if all goes well, I want to take her to the Herperduin later this morning, when it gets light again. Hopefully she will enjoy some different sniffs and a splash here or there. 😊 Let's see how this walkies will go now...

Hopefully mum will be a bit more awake after tonight so she can get me a better update. She sent me a small message just before I got up. Saying she'd been tired a lot. And asking about Arwen. So I don't have much news yet...

I was thinking of maybe going to Nijmegen today, so I can maybe visit mum. And maybe my parents will have a shovel that I can borrow, as the one I borrowed from one of my neighbors went back to another neighbor. That shovel is being abused by the whole street it seems. 😂

But if my parents have one that I can borrow, it would mean that, if the weather and my body allow, I could do some more of the weeding and all that...

The moon is visible again and she's almost full now... 🌔

Ello frens and fans of Arwen

Back for walkies together . We're going slow and Arwen is getting all the sniffs... It's about 5°C with a real feel of about 3. It's still dry...

I didn't do too much at the gym. I was emotional and not too focused. So I rode the seated bike for 20 minutes and then I had a massage in the chair. Went back for brekky and all that, glad do see Arwen still with me...

I gave her a painkiller when I got up, and it seems to help her some, as she seems a bit more relaxed now... 😊

Let's see how we can get through today... Arwen feeling a bit bad, mum having her surgery, with some risks here and there and chances for complications... Dad will take mum to the hospital, so this morning I'll walk to the supermarket and I'll get some things that mum asked me to get. 😊 Gives me some distraction I guess...

It's the "green" bin day today, so I'll see if I can get some weeds from the back garden to the bin, so I can put it to the street after that. The front garden still needs work as well, but that's for when I'm feeling a tad better again...

Hopefully I can get some gaming in with a sweet friend, as I could use a good chat and some more distraction from the *points at everything*

I'll try to keep you updated on the things happening today. Hopefully it will only be good news...

Ello frens and fans of Arwen

We're out again, and Arwen is taking the sniffing very seriously. I've had to push her forward a few times now, as I was getting cold with just standing still for a while. It's dry, it's been dry too long now, but hey, it's nice when it's not raining during walkies. But it's only 4°C, with a real feel of about 2 degrees. So it's not that warm to stand still...

I rode the seated bike for half an hour. One massage chair was taken, so I decided to just get ready to head home. Of course, when I was getting up to leave, the person left the chair... Ugh, just my luck...

I enjoyed brekky and now I'm telling Arwen that a sniff is good, but she doesn't have to inhale everything 😂. The night isn't long enough to do all of that! 😇

We're back on another adventure and I may be wearing the wrong jacket. It's not too cold, but I didn't check the real feel, and with the wind, this jacket is a wee bit chilly. So let's hope Arwen will be on the move a bit more. 😊

I rode the seated bike for half an hour. I wanted to use the massage chair, but one was taken and I'm not that comfortable to take the other one then... So I just headed home again.

I'm feeling a wee bit tired, so the walkies are a bit more challenging now. But I know they're good for both Arwen and me, so hey ho, let's do this. 😊

I tried to get a shot of the moon, but with the wind and my sore arms, I was fortunate enough to get just one decent one. I slightly edited it and I'll share it in this Toot.

So, plans for today! Some relaxing when we get back. After the next walkies, when it gets light again, I'll see about doing some more weeding. I really want to finish the front garden for now... Also because I don't know how long I'll still be able to borrow the shovel. I do need go do the back garden as well, so maybe I'll need to check the stores to find a sturdy but also affordable shovel for myself. 🤔

I need to get to the store this morning. So after the nine o'clock walkies, I'll walk to the supermarket and get my few things. And then... Hopefully... I'll be able to relax with some gaming! 😁

Busy morning for sure, but if all goes well, I should be able to relax after that. 😊

Ello frens and fans of Arwen

We're back on another adventure . There is a lovely moon, for a little while longer at least (app says the moon goes out of sight around 4:38). It's 11°C, with a real feel of about 9, and it's dry. So it's not too bad for a walk.

I rode the seated bike for 35 minutes and then I enjoyed a massage in the chair for ten. So it's not much, but at least I did something. After the abuse I'd given my body yesterday morning, I didn't want to push it. Especially since I'll need to do more garden work soon... 😬

But I do hope to get some gaming in today, hopefully while on chat ejth a dear friend. 😊 Maybe I can get some weeds out early this morning, every little bit helps? It's not a nice job, and it's hard work, but it does look a lot better now, even though it's still messy. Stupid weeds here... 😔

Let's see if I can write a bit for my blog. It's weekend! But... What's a weekend? As the great dame Maggie Smith (RIP) asked in one of the earliest Downton Abbey episodes...

Ello frens and fans of Arwen

And we're back. Just Arwen and me now, making things a bit easier again. 😊 Bas can be a good boy, but it's so different with him along, compared to just having Arwen around.

It's dry and 9 degrees, with a real feel of about 8. So it's not too bad for walkies. Although Arwen is a bit on a zig-zag tour at the moment, making me a bit nuts. There isn't that much traffic here during the night, but most that do drive here, expect it to be quiet, like we do, which can mean they will drive a "wee" bit faster than allowed. And as Arwen is off leash at this bit, I do worry when she keeps zig-zagging behind me...

Before I went to the gym, I tried to take a snap of the moon. I only I got one, as it was hard to get a decent focus on it with my phone. I slightly edited the snap, and I'll share it here. Yes, yet another moon snap from me... I just love the moon. I even got an app with the moon info now, so I can track it even better. 😊

Hopefully I can write a bit for my blog now, as there's just Arwen now.

I also hope that I can work a bit on the weeding of my front garden today... This weekend I hope to game. And, if all goes well, maybe I can visit the zoo this Monday for a few hours in the morning? 🤞🏻

SniffiVerse™ walkies Toot

Ello frens and fans of Arwen

Guess who are our and about again tonight? hihi... Yup! Da Pixy and da Lab! It's 6°C at the moment, dry, some wind, a real feel of about 4 degrees.

As my shoulders, neck and elbow (and hands) are still a bit sore, I only rode the seated bike. I managed 35 minutes and then I enjoyed the massage chair for ten minutes.

On the way home, a rabbit gave me a break-check, as it decided that it was a good idea to cross the road that I was driving on... Fortunately, there was just me in the road, so I could avoid hitting the silly animal. But ugh, why do they always feel the need to cross the way when the headlights of a car are coming towards them? 🤔

There was a sliver of the moon before I headed to the gym. I tried to get a snap, but it was hard to get the phone to focus, as there was just a wee bit of the moon visible. I tried to edit it a bit, so I'll share it in this Toot. 🌒

Let's see if I can write a bit for my blog now. At least my hands aren't as cold now as they were last night. 😊
