The national outlets, including the #Sun, the #DailyTelegraph and the #Times, argue that the nation “needs” more North Sea #drilling to provide “home-sourced oil and gas” amid a “full-blown energy crisis”.

These newspapers seek to blame energy secretary Ed Miliband’s “net-zero crusade” for curbing UK fossil-fuel production – despite supplies dwindling for decades before he took the role.

Since the sun is going to be pounding us all week, we might as well get a good look at it! Here’s an image I captured from Brooklyn this morning with my Dwarf 3. The massive sunspot region on the sun’s upper half is AR 4478, about 10 times as wide as Earth, with a smaller sunspot group AR 4479 below.

I did a walk today, but significantly quicker and a noticeably shorter time. I can't find the suncream, I'm bald, and covering my head makes it incredibly warm.
