Most excellent weather today and having a day of decided for a very relaxed little ride to my mum on this fixed up old little bike.
Hadn't really ridden it since i've painted and rebuild it this winter.
The frame is obviously out of shape (no riding without hands on this one 😅) and still needs some decals, but love how she is looking after quite some work.

Back then, while we were still students at the local university, we had bought the bikes for our first cycling trip through France. Later on, both bikes were used to transport our children, and I also used mine to commute to work.

Gravel road perfection. The groads of Rensselaer County NY are phenomenal. Mostly low traffic class 1 gravel through rural areas dotted with farms. The terrain isn't too steep but you will get some short 20% climbs. It's punchy to say the least.

The wild ride started when the Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Area (an intercommunal cooperation org) awarded a contract for setting up the system to Nextbike. Together, they promised thousands of bikes, all of them electric, for the insanely low price of 10 PLN/month for 90 minutes a day (or 0.10 PLN/min without a subscription).
