... sondern ca. 135 Milliarden US Dollar hat der Kahlschlag von Elon Musk in der US Bürokratie schon gekostet. Von Einsparungen ist man noch weit entfernt. Diese Summe hat die "New York Times" genannt für Abfindungen, Gerichtskosten, Wiedereinstellungen und Produktivitätsverluste. Angekündigt hatte Trump Einsparungen von bis zu zwei Billionen Dollar durch sein "DOGE" Programm.

Das Fazit für Musks Tätigkeit sieht nach T-Onlinde.de eher so aus:

• Übereilte Entlassungen: Von rund 100.000 entlassenen Staatsbediensteten klagte sich rund ein Viertel wieder zurück in den Dienst.
• Wichtige Mitarbeiter, die "versehentlich" gefeuert wurden, mussten zurück geholt werden.
• Rund 220.000 jüngere Nachwuchskräfte, zunächst auf Probe angestellt, waren durch finanzielle Förderprogramme gelockt und nun entlassen worden.
• Bei der US-Steuerbehörde IRS sollen rund 22.000 Beschäftigte gehen und werden die dort schon dünne Personaldecke weiter beschädigen, so dass Steuersünder weiter unbehelligt bleiben.

Letzteres ist sicher im Sinne von Trump und anderen Super-Reichen ...:

Es ist schon interessant, ja, wenn man zynisch genug ist, sogar amüsant, anzusehen, wie die weit außerhalb der gewöhnlichen Gesellschaften lebenden Geldsäcke auf die Zerstörung der Erde durch die Verbrennungs- und Müllbergkultur der Menschen reagieren: Sie suchen mit ihren Mitteln und ihrem ganzen Einfluss nicht nach Möglichkeiten, diesen Prozess aufzuhalten oder ihm wenigstens seine durch die exponentielle Dynamik des irrwitzigen Geldfetischs gefährliche Geschwindigkeit zu nehmen, damit die Menschen etwas Zeit für technische Lösungsversuche zu gewinnen, sondern sie streben nach dem Weiter-so und dem Schneller, kombiniert mit Raumfahrt; nach der Besiedelung mindestens eines zweiten Planeten weit draußen zum Ausbeuten, Leerlutschen, Anzünden und Zerstören. Denn einen Mann mit einem Hammer sieht alles wie ein Nagel aus, und für einen Mann mit ein paar Milliarden Währungseinheiten sieht alles wie ein Geschäft aus, und sei es noch der Weltuntergang.

The message couldn’t be clearer: hope and responsibility for the planet belong to the next generation, not to leaders who put themselves first. Trump’s expression—detached and unaware—makes the contrast even starker. The graffiti and layers of other art around the mural only add to its raw, unapologetic vibe.

Street art like this isn’t just decoration; it’s resistance. Art has the power to question, challenge, and inspire.

Which one is your favorite?

Let me tell you about a mural in Australia that got attention for reasons far different than the artist likely intended. It was a mural of Elon Musk pointing at Doge, the Shiba Inu meme.

Sure, it was well-painted, but we need to ask ourselves: Why are we dedicating public walls to billionaires?

Elon Musk isn’t just a polarizing figure. He’s someone whose actions—from union-busting to spreading misinformation—symbolize a lot of what’s wrong with modern capitalism. And then, just days before this mural became a target, Musk made a public gesture that many interpreted as a Nazi salute. It was this gesture that fueled the response to the mural. People spray-painted words like “Fascist” and “Loser” over the image, even altering his face to resemble Hitler.

The defacement wasn’t just anger in a vacuum; it was a reaction to Musk’s own actions and the message they sent.

The mural didn’t last long. It was soon painted over with a dull gray coat, leaving behind an empty wall and a lot of questions. Who decides which figures deserve to be celebrated in public spaces? And why aren’t we using these walls to uplift the voices of ordinary people and marginalized communities?

The mural is gone, but the conversation continues. Public art isn’t just decoration—it’s a statement about our values.

A Familiar Villain: Trump as Prince John

The mural reimagines Trump as Prince John, the cowardly and petulant lion from the classic Disney film. Dressed in his signature red and white royal robe and golden crown, he sits in a sulking pose, sucking his thumb—a clear jab at his childish and narcissistic tendencies. In Robin Hood, Prince John is known for his greed, incompetence, and obsession with power, making him an apt comparison for the former U.S. president.

Elon Musk as Sir Hiss: The Scheming Snake

Beside Trump, a green snake with Elon Musk’s face slithers into the scene. Dressed in a black cloak like an executioner, the snake channels Sir Hiss, Prince John’s manipulative advisor in Robin Hood. In the film, Sir Hiss whispers suggestions into Prince John’s ear, fueling his delusions of grandeur—much like the influence some believe Musk has over modern discourse and digital power structures.

Street Art with a Bite

The bold, dripping green text above the figures reads: “WELCOME TO THE YEAR OF THE SNAKE!” This could be a reference to the Chinese zodiac, where the snake symbolizes intelligence, cunning, and sometimes deception. Or it could be TVBOY’s way of warning us about the figures who dominate headlines and wield influence in unpredictable ways.
