I've been working on an upgrade to my tiny house solar power set-up. The initial set-up from 2022 was very minimal 200 watt panel and a Bluetti power station with about 700 watt hours. Enough to power a few lights, laptop/iPad and phone but not a whole lot more for an extended period of time. Useful as an experiment to get a feel for things.
The new set-up currently is four 200 watt panels for 800 watts (expandable to six panels for 1200 watts) charging a Bluetti Elite 300 that has a capacity of around 3,000 watt hours. Currently the new system is powering everything in my tiny house except the window AC (though it can power that as well).
On a clear day solar starts changing at 6:30am with 20 watts. this ramps up to 430 watts by 9:30am. By noon the panels are collecting 550 to 700 watts. The morning battery charge is at about 32% after I cook breakfast and is up to 64% by noon. It'll be 100% by 2pm so I can cool the house with...

Hot day today. I went out for a bike ride this morning before it got it really hot, but returned almost immediately because it didn't seem healthy to cycle with the awful air quality. There's a wild fire in the south of the Netherlands and the smoke had come all the way to Assen.
This afternoon the wind had turned and I took parcels to the post office. By that time I didn't really want to cycle any further due to the 33 C temperature. I'll try to ride a bit further this evening when it cools off a bit.
