Das ist das kleine Insekt, welches das Mädesüß-Bad genommen hat.
Heute mag es anscheinend lieber etwas Gelberes.😆
Da kommt der Wiesen-Pippau (Crepis biennis) gerade recht.
- heimischer, robuster Korbblütler für naturnahe, nähstoffarme Wiesen und sonnige Standorte,
- bildet viele goldgelbe löwenzahnähnliche Blütenköpfchen an locker verzweigten Stängeln,
- überaus wertvolle Pollenquelle für sehr viele Insekten (Wildbienen, Käfer ...),
- lässt sich leicht entfernen, wenn es mal zuviel Pippau wird.🤭

Another Bee today! 🐝 This is a European Wool Carder Bee settling in for a nap on a piece of lavender.
Went back a few days ago to the lavender patch and unfortunately it was pretty crispy and dried out and had very few bees. 😢 It was absolutely bustling a couple of weeks ago though! ✨

I posted this a few weeks ago and said this was a White Wisteria Tree. I was wrong! An Italian friend informed me recently that it's an Acacia tree - but actually that's not completely correct either.
In Italian it's commonly known as an Acacia but it's a Black Locust Tree or a Robinia Pseudoacacia - so it's a false Acacia. (Whatever it is though, they smell soooo gooood)

This is a "Yellow Mud (Dauber) Wasp". Now, these little things are faaaast as fuck and don't tend to stay in any place for very long, so this was a lovely suprise! (Compared to minutes later when I missed my chance to take a good photo of a Violet Carpenter Bee and nearly had a meltdown. 😂 They're just so pretty!!) ✨
I believe that the plant that they are on is "A Rose of Sharon" or 'Hibiscus Syriacus" - I might have to go back and confirm that though! ✨
