#Nextcloud #Collectives 4.5.0 released
This release brings support to subscribe to a collective, so you get notified about new and changed pages.
🐛 Fixes include:
* 🔎 Always list page picker first in smart picker when in Collectives app.
I currently use:
- @nextcloud for #file #storage
- #Posteo for e-mail
- @joplinapp, @zettlr, and #paper for #notes
- #Everdo for to-do lists (although I've suspected for a while that #GTD isn't all it's cracked up to be and am looking for a better alternative)
- @libreoffice and occasionally in-browser Nextcloud for #office software
- I avoid #AI most of the time for personal use, making an exception when I have to correspond with the #bureaucracy. Although tbh even this use of AI makes me uneasy.

‼️ Dringende Frage bzgl Virus in NextCloud Core:
Laut meinem Webspace Scan gibt es einen Virus in meiner NextCloud Installation (data/updater…/backups/nextcloud-33-0.5.1…/dist/core-main.js.map).
Eine Aktualisierung der NextCloud-Version ist zur Zeit nicht möglich, da der Provider eine Sperre eingebaut hat wegen Verdacht auf einen Virus.
Der Lösungvorschlag vom Provider ist recht drastisch - alles auf dem Webspace löschen.
Kennt jemand dieses Problem?

Wie verhält sich Nextcloud eigentlich in folgendem Szenario?
Computer A benutze ich täglich und habe da eine Datei bearbeitet/gespeichert.
Auf Computer B ist diese Datei auch, aber der Computer war zuletzt vor 1 Jahr eingeschaltet.
Wenn ich Computer B jetzt einschalte, lädt dieser dann die alte Version an die Nextcloud hoch und überschreibt die neuere Datei in der Nextcloud?
Oder zieht Computer B die neueste Datei aus der #Nextcloud und unterschreibt die ältere lokale Datei? 🤔

Thank you. But you did not answer my questions.
Nextcloud Talk and in particular the push notifications will not work properly without Google Services. Neither with manually installed and configured Unified Push services nor with other self-hosted services. It is just not configurable in the app as shown in the screenshot.
Or am i wrong? Please point me and the community to the right and relevant documentation. My concern:
If Google or Mr. Trump would stop Googles Services for us, Nextcloud Talk won't work as expected and no notifications will be sent!

Also status.nextcloud.com lists the website as down as well as the App Store (apps.nextcloud.com). However the App Store is still online, just the status check does not believe this. Can the App Store still be trusted?
Please tell us what happened to avoid any further damage to the reputation of the project.

Nextcloud-Webseite erst kompromittiert - dann offline
Die offizielle Nextcloud-Webseite liefert derzeit offenbar nicht den gewohnten Inhalt aus. Stattdessen berichten Nutzer von einer fremden „CloudBox“-Seite, Fehlern und längerer Nichterreichbarkeit. Nach dem jüngsten Datenleck sorgt das für zusätzliche Unruhe in der Community.
#Nextcloud .com-Domain war übernommen worden. Dort fand sich zeitweise Information von "cloudbox", nun ist die Site ganz down.
Obwohl Updates über GitHub statt die Website laufen, wäre ich mit Updates in den nächsten Tagen vorsichtig.
