Die cloud kann auch nuf lokal im netzwerk laufen und du richtest für unterwegs nen vpn (wireguatrd) ins heimnetz ein.

Some months ago @nextcloud asked for contribution, e.g., by translating #Nextcloud: mastodon.xyz/@nextcloud/114241…

Since then, I've added for Brazilian Portuguese about 2000 missing translations and reviewed more than 25000 existing translations, changing and correcting many mistakes and inconsistencies.

At the moment, Nextcloud is fully translated for pt_BR, including user documentation. 👍

Ich stehe kurz davor, mir eine gemanagte #Nextcloud zu holen. Speicherplatz 1TB.
Wichtig ist mir, dass ich selber aus dem App Store jede App installieren kann, die ich möchte. Eigene Domain nice aber nicht wichtig.

Aktuell stehen zur Auswahl #Hetzner (hetzner.com/de/storage/storage…) für 5,11€ oder #Wolkesicher (wolkesicher.de/sichere-cloud-f…) für 3,99€

Hetzner ist ja der Platzhirsch. Wie sind eure Erfahrungen damit?
Kennt und nutzt jemand wolkesicher.de? Wenn ja, wie sind damit die Erfahrungen?

Updated Nextcloud AIO to the latest version and it stopped working .. Spent the last 5 hours trying to resolve the internal error with no luck.

Now restoring a two month old backup .. I'm tired of this shit.

This is not the first time I'm losing important data after an update.

For now, mostly happy with my files-sync!

Is it possible that by using the same #Nextcloud app password, all the #Floccus profiles seem seem to Nextcloud (Bookmarks) as the same device and that causes it to somehow run in circles or rather wait for one another a bit too much?

It seems to me it is syncing much slower than it should – it feels like an hour now and two profiles keep syncing about 2k bookmarks (and tabs combined).

Dear @nextcloud @floccus LazyWeb,

I use several #Firefox profiles at the same time – one for each #KDE #Plasma Activity and am #Floccus + #Nextcloud Bookmarks as a replacement for Firefox Sync.

So I need to set up two Floccus profiles for each FF profile.

I started to export/import those, but noticed that it does not ask me for authentication anymore.

Does importing a profile re-use that NC app pass too?

If so, does that bring any unwanted consequences with it (e.g. performance, security)?

Turns out my current #foss calendar setup, consisting of #NextCloud Calendar, DAVx5 and Fossify Calendar is not reliable enough. Multiple appointments have just gone missing after a while, seemingly random.
It shouldn't be too much too ask to have a FOSS calendar synched reliably between my phone and my laptop.

What's the real Google Calendar alternative? I'm more than willing to selfhost, but this is frustrating.

Hilfe, wieso ist die Nextcloud-App auf Android so dermassen schlecht?
- Es fehlt eine generelle Einstellung, ob nur über kostenfreie WLANs hochgeladen werden soll oder nicht. Diese ist ordnerspezifisch. Viel Spaß beim Ein- und Ausschalten beim Wechsel in Roaming-Netze oder ein kostenpflichtiges bzw. schlechtes WLAN.
- Die Einstellung nicht nur über freie WLANs hochzuladen, wird komplett ignoriert. Es findet kein Upload im Mobilfunknetz statt.
- Die App hängt sofort, wenn etwas größere Bilderordner hochgeladen werden sollen.

Lösungsvorschläge für allfällige Probleme vor dem Bildschirm?
