Okay, I think this thing is ready-enough to tell people about it.

I made a #BBS to watch aircraft near #YUL (#Montreal airport), through my home #ADSB antenna setup. It's a #Swift NIO based app that runs on a #RaspberryPi (3) in my office network closet, so please play nicely.

Near #CYUL , it broadcasts on #Meshtastic (unencrypted channels: `yul-traffic` + `yul-alerts`), but also at: @yultraffic and @yulalerts .

(*BBS: æsthetic-wise, at least; no messaging)

So I’m in the market for a #TypeForm style service with a good #Swift and #SwiftUI integration. I’d love to use TypeForm and the #swiftpm package that gives it a nice native integration to be able to collect in-app feedback from my users but their free tier is really limited and their paid tiers start at too high of a price to be worth it.. (I expect more than 10 submissions a month but not enough to justify to pay [that much] for it).

Yes I know I could just open an email client but so like the coneceptnof having the whole support / suggest / bug report flow in the app and only send replies per mail if needed.

Call if a relic of my school days but I still work better on solving a puzzle with pen and paper.

I just can't look at a problem and get to coding, there has to be my own diagnosis of it on paper, manually working through test cases, edge inputs and at least two iterations through an entire loop of the main logic. Only after that do I replicate the logic using code. Am I alone?

Ich spreche #ObjectiveC, #Swift (auch Server-Side) und #SwiftUI und nutze die ganzen Tools drumherum (#Xcode, #Git, #GitHub, #GitHubActions, #ShellScripting etc.). Ich bringe 30 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Software-Entwickler mit, davon knapp 20 im #Apple Ökosystem.
