As if it wasn’t enough crippling data aggregation by letting-off thousands of personell of #NOAA having to close so many essential weather stations across the northern hemisphere, they continue their violent rampage now even plundering critical public computing infrastructure - which once was bought with public money. This will result in even more unnecessary fatalities killed in extreme weather events the next months and years. If it wasn‘t enough „fighting climate change“ by poking out both eyeballs and shooting their hands and legs off. Now they even chop-off the head - selling the brain to the highest bidder. That has gradually whittled down to 4,500 — and then another 550 were cut by DOGE or quit without being replaced. As a result, “for the first time in the history of the National Weather Service, the agency is below 4,000 people.”
