Does this product exist?
A microphone that you can connect via Bluetooth to any BT speaker or receiver (like a hearing aid) to make that speaker into a sort of PA system?
It seems so obvious that this should exist. But searching I seem to only find these stupid LLM generated articles, and microphones sold with its own speaker or its own receiver that you need to plug in to an aux input. Am I being stupid?

Llevo 2/3 años usando unos cascos Sony muy normalillos (WH-CH520), pero hoy en la mochila se me ha partido un auricular, y aunque lo he pegado, me ha quedado rígido.
Como hago uso compulsivo de ellos a diario (8 h. curro escuchando podcast), me preguntaba si merece la pena comprar unos buenos, tipo Sony WH-1000XM5? ¿alguien los tiene? ¿alguna otra recomendación? Tienen que ser inalámbricos de diadema sí o sí.

That is strange... I can load up your profile myself. Of course, you could consider joining another instance—people say it's better to join a somewhat smaller instance than the largest one (i.e. mastodon.social). But I understand that it doesn't feel good to do so because of technical issues like this. Doesn't breed confidence.

Video call once or twice a month
Be able to do file backups
The most important feature for me will be the ability to write things on PDFs smoothly in quantity, preferable if I don't need to download any extra software for that. Anything else I'm willing to work around it. Price Range below 500€ preferable around 200€

Has anyone succeeded in training or otherwise preventing their cats from clawing the screens?
We already move them up and open the top part of the window instead of the bottom, but that doesn't work for the window that opens outward.
Würde gerne auf meinem Pixel 8 Pro mit GrapheneOS RethinkDNS testen. Dazu habe ich mir von HIER die neueste Version (055u) heruntergeladen. Danach habe ich im Arbeitsprofil versucht die heruntergeladene .apk über die Paketinstallation zu installieren.
Leider klappt dies nicht und es erscheint einfach nur die Meldung "App nicht installiert".
Gibt es da einen bestimmten Trick RethinkDNS auf GrapheneOS zu installieren? Oder mache ich einen Fehler?
Vielleicht haben die vielen Profis hier ja einen Tipp?

I want these to be the cases for my new "Kid Sister" lockpick sets, which means I either need to design smaller picks, or find slightly longer cases.

The cases pictured are for lip gloss and are only 90mm tall 😞
In the meantime, I'm going to go cut a couple picks down to see if I can make them more compact and still easy to work with.

Is the #fediverse we have capable of avoiding #enshittification as it grows and attracts an increasing number of corporations, who make it their market?
Is our #ActivityPub landscape resistant to corporate capture and eventual takeover and domination? Just like the Corporate Web, also decentralized.
There are nice niches on the web, like a bloggosphere, bulletin boards, and news readers, that all still exist. But web as a whole is predominantly corporate, arguably not commons based, for the people by the people.
Social experience design defines "commons based" as "where people are in control of their future on a path of healthy evolution and natural growth". A core principle is being sustainable at all times, and timely acknowledge and mitigate risks.
Is fediverse commons based? Did we cocreate the Future of Social networking?
