Introducing Sonusmix, an app to easily manage audio routing in Pipewire. It features virtual devices, volume control, routing, application endpoints to manage entire applications at once, persistence, and some tools to work around some of Pipewire's issues. We may not be like other SCM's (mostly billion $ companies), but that's exactly why we really do prefer interpersonal communication and cooperation over social media posts. Next time, for the sake of the developers, we hope to have that. I hope the issue is fixed. ~n
@hiddengravitas Indeed, that was a day before the MR I've linked was merged. Then it seems @Codeberg was able to solve the issue without their help – thanks to the Codeberg crew for getting that done amidst their current double-heavy workload! 🙇
The comment in social.librem.one/@eighthave/1… indicates the IP addresses and provider used by F-Droid should not become public information. It looks like we indeed managed to figure them out with some days of digging in our access logs.
However, we are not sure how to deal with this information further. Our allowlist is managed in public, and we probably need to figure out a better way to persist the exception without disclosing your IP range.
@grote @fdroidorg where are production buildservers are located is not public information, and it is not necessarily static. But I imagine it would be easy to figure out which IP address by looking at the logs on the codeberg side. We haven't been blocked before by any other git/scm hoster, to my knowledge.

Mastodon is financed by crowdfunding instead of venture capital not because we don't know that venture capital exists, not because we don't have bills to pay, and not because venture capital isn't willing to give money to new social media platforms. VCs don't want a sustainable business, they want a big exit. Every VC-backed business is on a timer to deliver or die.

Als ich zur Studienberatung gegangen bin, als ich mein Chemiestudium abgebrochen habe und dort sehr spezifisch auf Informatik zugegangen bin, hatte ich Angst vor dem Gespräch mit dem Studiengangsfachberater und hab bekannte Personen an der Informatik-Fakultät gefragt, wie derjenige so drauf ist. Aus Angst, dass da jemand sitzt, der mir dieses Studium ausreden möchte. Das ist zum Glück nicht passiert, aber alleine die Energie, die ich da rein gesteckt habe, ist beispielhaft dafür. Jedes Mal überprüfen oder nachdenken, ob ne männliche Person mir nicht alleine wegen Geschlecht Steine in den Weg legen würde, was Entscheidungen wie Studium und Arbeit angeht #frauenalltag
Dann so was wie Heimweg abends und ein Typ, der mich anspricht und trotz mehrmaligen Nein und Tschüss weiter mit mir geht und mich einfach nicht gehen lassen will, auch mit mir heim gehen würde. Raus gekommen bin ich, weil zwei Frauen die Situation aus dem Auto nebenan beobachtet haben, mich angesprochen haben und mich dann nach zwei, drei Runden um den Block fahren heim gebracht haben. Ja, auch das hätte schief gehen können, aber erschien mir in dem Moment wie die sichere Option #frauenalltag
Wenn in einem sicheren Rahmen das Thema sexuelle Belästigung und Vergewaltigung aufkommt, Frauen über ihre Erfahrungen sprechen, dann kennt eine Anwesende viel zu oft eine Person, die ähnliches erleben musste. Oder selbst erleben musste. Das ist leider keine anekdotische Evidenz, sondern auch mit Zahlen belegbar, dass wohl jede dritte Frau in Deutschland in ihrem Leben mindestens einmal Gewalt erlebt Jährlich werden alleine in Deutschland um die 100 Frauen ermordet, weil sie Frauen sind - häufig auch als Konsequenz von Partnerschaftsgewalt Auch so was ist und diese latente, permanente Gefahr ist #frauenalltag
Wir hatten für ein Sommerfest im Kleingartenverein einen Alleinunterhalter, dessen Pointe eines Witzes war: Dann hob i mei Oide derschlogn. Nachdem er zuvor schon mehrfach das N Wort verwendete bin ich eingeschritten, und habe erklärt, dass ich ihm den Strom abdrehe, wenn er nicht sofort aufhört. Danach kamen viele Gäste zu mir und haben sich bedankt. Mehr als dass sich beschwert haben. Aber vorher aufgestanden ist keiner.
