Poor 60 year old plum tree, just gave up. It's the third year it blooms twice (February and April) instead of once, (April), and each year giving away fewer and fewer plums whereas before gave a true bonanza of big, sweet, juicy yellow plums in late June, early July. This year the first (and lonely single) plum has already (as tradition) been claimed by the resident blackbird family. #climatechange #heatwaves #flora #backyard #photography
