I know that you can take Wikipedia to base your argument. If you look closer Poland, Finland and baltics did not cooperate with SU, Finland and baltics with Nazi Germany (bc of bad experience with tsarist Russia and anticommunism) that's why they had to take these steps, so the fascists would not take over Leningrad and Moscow too quickly. Do you believe SU should have waited for the catastrophe?
Czechoslowakia and Afghanistan were victims of social imperialism...
