shit did really hit the fan hard this week. my mother had a terrible fight with me and my sister. she said a lot of awful stuff to both me and my sister which included telling my sister to "go and die then" when she said how just keeping alive every day is a struggle.
on thursday we went out with some friends and it started all over again when she just suspected we told them what she had done to us. she called me again many terrible names and confirmed my suspicion that me having really bad memory, specially the fact that I have almost no recollection of anything from before I was 7 years old, is just PTSD because she told us of a terrible case of my father kicking me that caused a depressive episode on her just to try and gather some fucking pity and I can't even fathom what the fuck else I forgot.
we need to move. as soon as possible. my sister has a 1 year old baby and we are actually afraid of she doing something on one of those "episodes" of her.
this current amount is to cover the expenses of buying the basics (oven, refrigerator, etc) so we could live somewhere. we don't even know if any place would even accept us because we both got bad credit but we need to try. this is impossible to keep going.

I ran out of the fancy medicinal cat food for my recovering cat last month and I wasn't able to buy more because I also ran out of litter and the normal food. I was hoping I could get some this month but the reality is that I haven't got enough even to cover my expenses and my credit card is already maxed.
I am afraid that it can get sick again and I haven't even paid the last of it's expenses yet so I've made this goal exclusively so that I can buy the food that should last me for 2 or so months.
While I try to survive till I am able to graduate and sort out how I'm moving I still have lots of expenses to cover. mostly which are related to my current housing situation. haha 🫠.

So ging es u.a. (West-)Rom, Ostrom /Byzanz, franz. Absolutismus (mit frz. Revolution), Azteken, die meisten Hansestädte....

Wegen Feigheit verhalten wir uns dann wie ein Kind, das das Zeugnisheft mit der 5 versteckt, und wegen der Hilflosigkeit suchen wir den großen starken Mann, der uns vor der bösen Welt beschützen wird....
Vielleicht geht es auch schlicht um Konkurrenz in einem sich - den Totschlagargumenten der Propaganda folgend - verengenden Rahmen der möglichen Handlungsoptionen. Darum, Mitbewerber*innen auszuschalten. Oder um die Neigung des Menschen, sich hinter vorgeschobenen Zielscheiben in relativer Sicherheit zu wähnen, wenn er selbst ins Fadenkreuz geraten ist.
Wie auch immer, es ist ätzend und führt zu nix, weil es in jeder Hinsicht zu einer Beschränkung der Möglichkeiten führt -,-

@snaums Klar spielt das alles auch eine Rolle. Aber ich würde nicht so weit gehen zu behaupten, Putin sei letztlich schuld an dem allgemeinen Rechtsruck in den westlichen Gesellschaften.
Putin direkt sowieso nicht. Aber es ist halt auch erklärtes Ziel die westlichen Demokratien zu destabilisieren.

Einerseits klang das für mich völlig absurd... andererseits durchaus nachvollziehbar.
Besonders als ich dann später bei einem kleinen 3-jährigen Kind erlebte, dass dessen Mutter krank war, oder sich weg getan hat... (man stößt sich, schreit vor Schmerz auf... das hört aber eh bald wieder auf zu schmerzen...) Das kleine Kind war unheimlich verbunden mit der Mutter... und reagierte auf den Schmerz der Mutter extrems aggressiv mit Schreien, Hauen, Schuldzuweisung und "Das tut dir nicht weh"... also ganz ähnlich wie die Feuerwerfer-Rufer sich ggü. den Flüchtlingen verhalten haben...
Das fand ich dann schon SEHR erstaunlich.... wie recht die Psychologin wohl damals hatte.
Und ich fürchte, du liegst mit deiner Einschätzung auch goldrichtig...
Jetzt gibt es auch in #Rumaenien einen #Rechtsruck: Bei den Wahlen gestern gewann ein Rechtsextremer, der bei der Stichwahl gute Chancen hat zu gewinnen.
