This is a long shot but I wonder if anyone can help with the name or author of a children's story?
It's from a long time ago and the story is about a girl who has long dark hair. She covers the land with it (her hair) causing nighttime to fall. I don't recall how it ends. 🤔

This Gothic Revival-style Roman Catholic church was constructed in the 1840s. It has lain abandoned for over twenty-five years. Now, graffiti covers all the walls, with colourful additions sprayed and scrawled on every surface within arm's reach. It seems this space still serves the community, in a way.

Nel cuore pulsante di Palermo, nel quartiere della Cala nel 1980, Letizia Battaglia catturò un istante eterno: una bambina imbronciata, Katia Malizia, con un pallone in mano e uno sguardo che sfida il mondo.

Sunset in the Peak District.
Somewhere in rural Cheshire, chasing a failed romance with an enigmatic fellow. We went to a number of places in the Peak District, at one point tearing around an abandoned quarry with steep drops on one side, in his modified Fiat Panda. I saw him again exactly one more time, later in May. But the romance was one-sided and doomed from the start. Jaff, if you're out there, I'm well and happily married now and I hope you've found happiness too.

Era il 5 luglio 1979 quando Palermo, con il suo Stadio della Favorita, divenne teatro di uno degli eventi musicali più rivoluzionari della storia italiana: il concerto di Lucio Dalla e Francesco De Gregori, parte del leggendario tour “Banana Republic”.
Quell’estate, i due cantautori non solo portarono la loro musica in giro per l’Italia, ma segnarono una svolta epocale nel modo di intendere i concerti dal vivo, trasformando gli stadi in templi della musica pop e riscrivendo le regole del rapporto tra artisti e pubblico.
