Europe's digital ecosystem runs on Free Software, SMEs, and small developer teams. They face complex procedures and disproportionate barriers. Compliance workshops shaped by gatekeeper agendas are not enough.

Enforcement must be designed with smaller actors in mind, and Device Neutrality must be at its core.

This #digitalSovereignty panel is great. Alexandre de Streel, Professor of EU Law, CERRE and Université de Namur was just on an absolute tear about how great a champion Trump is for the #DMA that we can all see why we must enforce this.

Before him, Filomena Chirico, Head of Unit Digital Markets, DG Networks, Content and Technology, EC took a long turn talking good sense about the value of the DMA. She's now talking again about the good stuff about cloud in the DMA.

Now Emmanuel Sardet, President of Cigref and Vice-CIO, Crédit Agricole talks good sense, yay! The last thing we as a bank need is agentic AI forced won our throats. The EU's lead on B2B AI is super, super important.

Von der Leyen soll die Milliardenstrafe gegen Google persönlich in letzter Minute gestoppt haben. It's quite damning that the folks behind the #BrowserGate investigation about #LinkedIn's hidden data theft programme have opted to sue #Microsoft in court for #DMA infringement rather than submitting a complaint for public enforcement to the @EUCommission.

It looks like they have little trust in the EU Commission to do that job quickly and effectively enough. 🤷‍♂️

The @EUCommission announced it is exploring a new EU-US “dialogue” on digital rules, as Washington piles on the pressure over how the EU enforces its tech laws.

“If confirmed, this is nothing short of complete capitulation to the #Trump admin’s coercive tactics,” said #Greens MEP @SLagodinsky.

“No need to do this,” said liberal MEP Sandro Gozi. “The Commission must implement the #DSA + #DMA, not discuss them with the US. It’s a clear attempt to slow down implementation and weaken enforcement.”
