Not many years ago, small family farms dotted this landscape. It was a time before "get big or get out," when individuals, not corporations, were the norm.

Lake Tahoe Reflection
Early morning out on Lake Tahoe. The sun had risen and was high in the sky. The fires in Yosemite were still burning and the jet stream was carrying the smoke up to the Tahoe Basin. I couldn't shoot anything that was in the distance as the smoke made the skies to hazy.
Trying to capture a image of the lake was difficult but this reflection caught my eye and I found it appealing.

Lower Yellowstone Falls

The Lower Yellowstone Falls is one of the many park highlights found in Yellowstone National Park. Here is a capture from one of the many overlooks of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. The river flows between the two yellow walls of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. It is because of these yellow walls that the park was named Yellowstone National Park.

Gibbon Falls

Gibbon Falls in Yellowstone National Park is a very beautiful waterfall that I could just sit by for hours. It's not the largest waterfall in the park but it just has a certain charm.
Just love sitting next to the falls listening to the water rush over the rocks trying to follow single drop down the fall. being almost hypnotized by the constant flow of water.
