📢 Die fünf Diözesandatenschutzbeauftragten (DDSB) der katholischen Kirche in Deutschland trafen sich am 24. und 25. September 2024 in Frankfurt zur Herbst-Konferenz. In regelmäßigen Beratungen tauschen sie sich über aktuelle Themen und gemeinsame Anliegen des kirchlichen Datenschutzes aus und erarbeiten gemeinsame Empfehlungen.

Besonders diskutiert wurden:
- Nutzung von Social Media, insbesondere im Fediverse
- Nationale Zuständigkeiten zur Verordnung über Künstliche Intelligenz
- Konsultation des BfDI zu Messengerdiensten
- Datenschutz bei der Umsetzung des Hinweisgeberschutzgesetzes
- Datenschutz in der Missbrauchsaufarbeitung
