I really can't stop looking at this photo - We usually think of space as being entirely empty and dark, but our Sun has a lot of dust around it that we can rarely see. This so called Zodiacal light is giving the moon this eerie backlit glow.

Al final saqué tiempo y he puesto en el blog la charla que dí en el I Encuentro de Comunicación Ciencia y Sociedad de Teruel, sobre "Contar los eclipses" y a la que titulé "Eclipses y madurez informativa". En la entrada he puesto una transcripción resumida de la charla, con enlaces al vídeo de la misma y a la presentación que usé. Por si a alguien le sirve para documentación variada.

Como mi suegro está operado de cataratas, no veo necesario arriesgarnos a que vea el eclipse solar de agosto, con unas gafas que no sé si le protegerán todo lo necesario (hay muchas que dicen estar homologadas, pero no me arriesgo). La idea es ponerle un filtro a una cámara deportiva y sacar la imagen por wifi a una tablet, así lo puede ver con seguridad.
¿Sabéis dónde comprar un filtro para la cámara, y que sea de confianza? No quiero estropearla usando un filtro de mala calidad.
