Over the last few days, there has been quite some discussion about the new terms of use (TOS) of mastodon.social.
Something similar happened months ago with Mozilla/Firefox.
Rules are essentially a good thing.

Me fastidia mucho que la fundación de "hacemos internet para las personas" se haya excusado en un cínico "the way we consume content on the web has evolved" para fulminar un servicio que efectivamente hacía internet más sencillo. (De repente para #Mozilla ya no somos personas, somos meros "consumidores de contenido" -¿en serio, @mozilla?-)
Yo no usaba #Pocket simplemente para guardar enlaces. Lo usaba para poder leer cómodamente y sin distracciones artículos que de otra manera hubiera leído muy por encima, interrumpiendo lo que estuviera haciendo en aquel momento. Es más: conservaba aquellos artículos que me parecían interesantes para volver a ellos en cualquier momento. Tenía entre ellos, entradas de blogs que ya ni existen.
Era un poco mi copia de respaldo local del internet que un día fue.
