One day I'll be very brave and clean the lens (Its not even the lens! Its a uv filter, and to make this even worse, I used to work as a theatre nurse and had no issues cleaning lenses worth years of salary, so I've no idea what my problem is!). Until that day though, the weird light effects are meticulously planned, completely and utterly intentional. #SendHelp

Thong Duy Vu – Out of water

‘On a gentle sunlit afternoon, a little sunbird set off for a five-star spa deep in the forest. From afar, he spotted a bright red banana blossom, filled with cool water and sweet nectar. He landed on the blossom and savoured the nectar. After his treat, he hopped into the “tub” and began to enjoy the refreshing water....

Dinner for One 🍽️ for #bienstag

I posted this a few weeks ago and said this was a White Wisteria Tree. I was wrong! An Italian friend informed me recently that it's an Acacia tree - but actually that's not completely correct either.
In Italian it's commonly known as an Acacia but it's a Black Locust Tree or a Robinia Pseudoacacia - so it's a false Acacia. (Whatever it is though, they smell soooo gooood)
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. 😂✨

Here are two of our resident garden inhabitants
- Common carder bumblebee (Bombus pascuorum) on white toadflax (Linaria purpurea alba)
- Early bumblebee (Bombus pratorum) on purple toadflax (Linaria purpurea)

I reckon that fits in well with #silentsunday too

I got bitten by a tic just a few minutes before this shot was captured. It's healing normally but the sheer amount of tics doesn't indicate that we're even close to another drought (current soil models state the opposite).
