#Golang is replacing #PHP and #Bash for quick and dirty one-time scripts for me in many cases (especially where memory consumption is of importance).
It's pretty awesome that a compiled language is a good replacement for scripting languages.
I remember in ye olde times where the distinction between compiled and interpreted used to be much larger, but just running "go run main.go" is not that different from "php script.php" or "bash script.bash".
Job-hunting update!
New resumé/CV, hopefully more readable and complete than before!.
As a brief call out, I'm looking for Devops/SRE roles, mainly as junior. I would like to work either hybrid or fully remote if outside of Barcelona city (Catalonia, Spain).
My experience and knowledge is very diverse, so I can adapt pretty easily to multitude of different teams. I've been learning as self-taught all my career up to this point, so my proactivity will keep up to most environments.
I would really appreciate some help, so please retoot this post or share it with someone, if it happens to be on a recruiting team or a team looking to fill an empty spot.
Any feedback is also welcomed!!
Thanks!!
New blog post: mergiraf.org, a syntax-aware merge driver for #Git.
Supports #Java, #Rust, #Golang, #javascript, #cpp, #csharp, #html, #json, #yaml and #xml so far, and it's quite easy to add support for more thanks to #treesitter.

I have used a 2D library called gg to make the clock render more quickly and with less CPU load. It is still far from perfect and has the wrong DPI on a mac. But I put it on #Codeberg none the less. So anyone, who is interested, may have a look.
