This is frustrating. I'm exploring options to #crowdfund for my feature film, but I live in the wrong continent. No platform accepts creators from Uganda/Africa, so I'm stuck with #patreon and ko-fi and the like. I guess my best option now is to create a page on my website and some kind of form to collect details of backers and a button for them to make a donation to the project. Not fun, since I don't have a huge following 😭

Anyway, I share it mostly on my Mastodon instance, but I'll share here too:
I've had a Patreon since around 2014? 2012? Something like that. Currently, it has every single musical release I've ever made available for paid members to download (lowest tier is a dollar), and I also post writing, the scripts I make, and it's also a general way to support me in my ventures of self-hosting a Mastodon instance. Even if you don't ever join mkultra.monster, help in maintaining an instance would be greatly appreciated! (especially over the holiday season as I spend more money on gifts than things I want to do lol)
