Auch deswegen nutze ich YouTube nicht direkt, sondern Links über @invidious* oder nutze es mobil via @newpipe*, um Videos zu sehen und so weit frei vom Tracking zu sein. Leider sind noch nicht sehr viele anregende Videoproduktionen im Fediverse zB auf @peertube vertreten.

Est-ce qu'il existe une (web) #app qui permet de #mixer des #musiques YouTube ou autre. Genre une app de #DJ, mais en entrée ce sont des liens et en arrière-plan ça lit les vidéos (voire le flux audio seulement) avec qqch genre #newpipe avec option de les pré-télécharger avec #ytdlp par exemple. et donc possibilité de changer le bpm, etc.

Oh, das schicke #LibreTube funktioniert inzwischen mit einem rein lokalen Modus ähnlich wie #NewPipe. Sehr cool, dass die App so wieder brauchbar ist und auch ohne leider ständig geblockte #Piped-Instanzen funktioniert.

Ich wollte nur über alternative YouTube-Frontends berichten, aber dann bin ich zu weit gegangen und YouTube hat mein Video gelöscht.

It's not actually in NewPipe itself as #NewPipe is designed to never pass any information about the user to the services it is downloading the video from.
What I do is hit the share button, copy the URL, then open #Tusky (or your fediverse client of choice), go to the search field, paste in the video URL, and then reply like you're replying a toot.
If you close NewPipe and open the video again (your history makes this easy), it should load your reply as a comment.
