Stichwort #digitaleSouveränität: Hat jemand hier praktische Erfahrungen mit einem de-googled Smartphone? Ich finde /e/OS von Murena ganz charmant, bin aber doch zu unsicher, mein Handy zu zerschießen. Ich wünsche mir die volle Funktionalität meines bisherigen Smartphones. Fragezeichen habe bei den Funktionen:
- Apps aus dem Google App Store. Denn seien wir ehrlich: Ein paar werden fehlen
- Funktioniert meine Postbank App noch? Ohne geht es nicht
- Funktionieren “find my phone” und gibt es eine Fern-Löschung bei Verlust?
- Was ist mit NFC Payment?
- Gibt es RCS Chat?
Nach meinen Recherchen glaube ich, dass alles bis auf den letzten Punkt gehen wird. Bin aber wie gesagt nicht sicher genug, es zu riskieren.
Wer weiß es?
ich bin ein sehr großer Fan von #Fairphone / #Murena / #eOS (ich würde Fairphone 4 oder neuer empfehlen. Wenn es preislich drin ist, dann FP6/6+ - tolles Gerät, tolle Akkulaufzeit und sehr sehr lange Support, meiner Meinung nach lohnt sich der Aufpreis gegenüber einem gebrauchten FP4/5).
Ansonsten gibt es auch noch Shiftphone aus Hessen, die sind auch nicht schlecht

never seen it, sorry. Cannot hell you. But the New 4.1.1-a16 update tells me that my #murena credentials are invalid, two or three times a day. I think there are more bugs along this update.
Haben eigentlich noch mehr Personen so große Probleme mit der Performance diverser Apps nach dem Update auf /e/OS v4.1.1.1? Das ist ja die reinste Zumutung, einige Apps laden einfach gar nicht mehr. Abmeldung, Neuinstallation und Neustart/Herunterfahren des Smartphones bringt nichts.

@murena et tous les utilisateur.ice.s d'un /e/os : je suis à l'étranger (Portugal), et mon forfait orange est censé fonctionner. D'ailleurs il fonctionne à moitié, et je peux appeler et recevoir des appels, et envoyer/recevoir des textos. Par contre, je n'ai pas accès au reste comme Signal, Whatsapp,... et il y a un "R" majuscule à côté du petit logo en haut à droite.
Y'a-t'il une option à activer quelque part et que je n'aurai pas trouvée ?

If I understand this correctly, @murena already offers apps through their own app store in /e/os.

#murena kostet 50€ mehr, der Softwaresupport ist nicht für 8 Jahre garantiert, dafür soll es "de-googlyfied" sein.
Ich würde mich freuen, wenn ich nicht mehr rooten / selber debloaten müsste um google loszuwerden, aber die Details auf der murena-Website lassen mich zweifeln (mehr unten).

The Fairphone 3, which was released in 2019, gets its final security update in June, 2026.
