Ich habe mein @fairphone III mit @murena e seit 2021 und es läuft seit damals reibungslos. Inzwischen ist die ganze Familie damit ausgestattet #FP3 oder #FP4 plus #Murena

Sowohl die Hardware als auch die Software machen keine Probleme. Updates kommen regelmäßig und automatisch.

Das Thema Android ist natürlich problematisch, aber für den Moment ist es trotzdem um Längen besser als bei Apple oder vollwertigem Google zu bleiben. Allein die KI sind der Horror.

I have a Fairphone 5 with eOS. One of my apps tells me that it needs to be updated to work. But when I click on "Update" it brings me to the lounge where the only option is to open (not update it).
Going straight to Lounge shows no update available for anything.

What should I do? 🙏

J'ai commandé chez @murena hier et si le paiement est bien passé (compte débité) et à l'écran, il y a bien eu un message me disant "Commande reçue" avec un N° de commande, je n'ai reçu aucune confirmation par mail.

Si y'en a qui ont aussi commandé chez eux, vous confirmez avoir eu la même chose ?

Heureusement, j'ai fait une capture d'écran car sinon en dehors du débit bancaire, j'ai aucune trace de la commande et vu l'argent en jeu, c'est pas rassurant 😅

Von 5 fairphones sind jetzt 2 defekt. Support nur in Englisch, kein telefonischer Support. Wartezeit auf Antworten bei mir 2 Monate. Ein Freund hat das aktuelle Modell im Juli gekauft. Es ist immer noch defekt. Er hatte es insgesamt 14 Tage im Einsatz. Meines darf ich nicht bewegen, sonst bootet es neu.

Ich habe ein blödes Problem mit #FairPhone 6 und /e/OS #Murena.

Nach einer gewissen Zeit (vielleicht 10 bis 15 Minuten) habe ich kein Internet mehr, obwohl alles in Ordnung ist. WLAN steht, Internet ist stabil. Das Gerät ist sogar im LAN/WLAN pingbar. Nur das FF zeigt das WLAN-Symbol mit ! an. Da hilft es nur, WLAN aus oder SSID trennen und direkt wieder zu verbinden. Nach einem ähnlichen Zeitraum das gleiche Spielchen von vorne.

Mit FF4/5 und #Android oder anderen WLAN-Geräten habe ich das nicht. Es scheint am ?DNS-Test? zu liegen, die Prüfung, ob das SmartPhone online ist. Aber auch das DNS ist in Ordnung?!

Was ist das für ein Problem? Das ist total nervig. Zumal ich keine Ressourcen im LAN (lokalen WLAN) erreichen und dann sogar auf mobile Daten umgeschaltet wird.

Kann mir jemensch noch einen Tipp geben?

Ver proyectos como #eos / #murena avanzar me da calorcito en la tripita. Teniendo en cuenta los cambios negativos recientes y próximos del ecosistema de Google es muy necesario que no sólo haya fuerza en las roms alternativas de Android sino también variedad.

hab aber meine Zweifel, ob das wirklich google-frei ist...
(und trau mich aber nicht, da jetzt GrapheneOS drüber zu installieren 🙁
und dann werben die damit, dass alles auf ne cloud gespeichert werden kann/sollte... da gehören meine Daten nicht hin... das riecht verdächtig...

aber das Problem an der Sache ist ja stattdessen, dass in Zukunft die apk von f-droid „google zertifiziert“ sein sollen: den Bock zum Gärtner machen sozusahren

Nach etwas mehr als zwei Wochen mit dem #Murena #fairphone kann ich sagen, dass wir uns gut aneinander gewöhnt haben und eine längere Beziehung eingehen wollen.

Die Bedienung ist wie zuvor eingerichtet und die Nervensägen wurden ausgesperrt. Natürlich sind meine Vorlieben nicht ganz konventionell, weil ich auf diesen ganzen Salat aus blauen und grünen Icons verzichte.

I can't say that much about Murena and their (degoogled) OS, but I've been a happy Fairphone user for almost a decade now (both #degoogled and stock).

Quiero recomendar #murena, que como punto intermedio y europeo para quien prefiera configurar su propia E2EE para una dirección de #email que no pone su IMAP tras un muro de pago está bien. Pero también quiero ver qué pasa con el resto de sus servicios asociados, que el año pasado en octubre tuvieron una caída importante durante unas semanas y aunque los esenciales de email ya funcionan otros todavía no.

Probé también #infomaniak y también estoy pendiente de cómo avanza. No todo me convence.
