Looking for self-published authors to follow in here. I’ve ditched my meta accounts and trying to figure Mastodon out (it ain’t that easy).
I vastly underestimated, as a young-in-path writer, the time to *maintain* a large catalog.
I thought having a large catalog would be the key to a successful career, esp in self-pub (and it was), but the maintenance goes exponential w/ # of books.
Still worth it tho.

Mein Kopf: Ja, ja, ja, ich schreib ja schon am Buch, wie man auf dem deutschsprachigen Buchmarkt selbst publizieren kann, ohne von einzelnen Unternehmen abhängig zu werden. Wird aber voraussichtlich frühestens im Herbst rauskommen.
Really all universal booklink platforms are a pain in the ass. Either they cost a shitton of money, do only support a specific subset of online stores, are totally US centric or build links to stores in an old URL scheme the store does not support any more. *sigh*
I know how this should be to be a good store in just do not have time or skills to do it *sigh*

wer von Euch veröffentlicht über epubli? Habt Ihr dort Bücher als ebooks oder Print-on-demand veröffentlicht? Vielleicht sogar beides? Wie sind Eure Erfahrungen? War vorher jemand vielleicht bei Neobooks (gehören ja auch zu neopubli)?
