Dry Cladonia lichen on an old dark brown tree stump. The lichen has grey stems (podetia) covered with tiny grey leaflets (lobes/squamules). There are red apothecia at the top of the stems. After the next rain, the grey of this lichen will turn green. Grey powderhorn lichen can be seen in the blurred background.
