My grandparents, dad’s parents, had gone to Heilbrunn for many years to spend their holidays. They always went to the same little spot, always around September, after the busy holiday period, and so that grandma could celebrate her birthday there at times as well. But, unfortunately, in 1996, my grandma died there while enjoying her holiday with my granddad.
My granddad wanted to show my parents where they would always go for walks, to meet the people that always made them feel like home… So they went there together. And, a year later, I went there with my parents and a friend. My parents went there for many years, and I joined a few times, and my then partner(s) and I went to a camping in the region a few times as well.
I’ve been going through some pictures lately. Some, to edit into “paintings” by AI. And then, to try and create descriptions for all the images that I uploaded to my Flickr account. I took so many snaps in Steiermark, Austria, that I could keep sharing nice and lovely ones here.
