Now the Mastodon web #GUI is turning into an insult to my senses and to good #UX (using mastodon.online for testing) I'm trying out #Elk.

I don't like it as much as the regular #Mastodon web #GUI but it at least doesn't have two areas of floating furniture and asked me to choose what icons are on the screen menu. I do hope Elk don't get drawn into such silliness.

Some mornings when I'm out looking for wild cats, I get distracted by a scene that is just too beautiful to ignore. It's views like this one in central California that make me wonder why I ever even come home from the field at all.

Using #macOS and other apple ecosystem exclusive apps has ruined Windows for me in a way.

Like... outside of web clients like #Elk, there doesn't seem to be any good #Windows clients for #Mastodon. I tried #Tokodon by #KDE, but it's broken on Windows. It doesn't load icons...

Anyone know of Mastodon clients? Thank you!
