We will make it available soon for iOS.

Thank you for your help

Concerning the #FediPlan app available on #FDroid

Source code: codeberg.org/tom79/FediplanApp

Translations (#Weblate): hosted.weblate.org/engage/fedi… (still under review for Libre Hosting)

Our next goal will be to make it available for iOS users (no extra work needed, we just need an iOS dev account).

- We started to fix bug reports for #Fedilab, we will also bring some enhancements that have been submitted.

- #Fediplan is on #Weblate (a request for Libre hosting has been submitted). The app should be available soon on #FDroid

We would like to thank you concerning the development of the #Fediplan app. While it is not an app that many of you will use, you keep supporting our work. Now be sure we are back to fix bug reports and enhancements on #Fedilab

#Fediplan has been submitted to #Fdroid. It was interesting to see that some basic official libs bring some Google Play Service dependencies.
They were removed and we proceeded differently. Not a big issue.
We also tested the apk though #ExodusPrivacy and no trackers were found.
An update is ready for full support with #Pleroma

Small updates of #Fediplan

- Move emojis picker
- Fix pull-to-refresh (scheduled messages)
- Allow to set sensitive media
- Improve counter
- Fix not scrollable (info tab)
- Remove useless permissions

We started the integration of #Fediplan with #FDroid.
If some devs are used with React Native and Expo for Fdroid builds, don't hesitate to share your tips with us.

Our current metadata:

Current build fails:

Thanks for helping. Boosts appreciated

#Fediplan dev is over. We are submitting it to #Fdroid.

We included a way to edit your scheduled messages (kind of trick like delete and rewrite).
We also took care of adding accessibility labels on each action button.

We will see with #Weblate to open a translation project (codeberg.org/tom79/FediplanApp…)

Now, we are back to #Fedilab

The source code for the #Fediplan app has been published on #Codeberg

codeberg.org/tom79/FediplanApp

After some adjustments, we will publish it on #FDroid

For iOS, we will have to create an Apple developer account. We will let you know about that.

You can test the #FediPlan app. We will reduce its size (currently due to the emoji picker). The apk was compiled locally through expo EAS. We will remove some permissions that are not needed.

Concerning the Android/iOS app for #Fediplan (check the link for details).

What's your opinion about a dedicated app for scheduling?

Boosts appreciated as we are targeting iOS users. Thank you.

#Fediplan for Android/iOS might be available sooner than expected.

#Fediplan for Android/iOS might be available sooner than expected.

While coding #Fediplan in React-Native we are pretty sure that we can rewrite #Fedilab in future so it can be supported on other platforms than Android.

For the #Fediplan app, we think of a simple navigation interface with a bottom menu.

In parallel with enhancements and bug fixes on #Fedilab, we started to develop the dedicated app for #Fediplan (iOS/Android).
For curious devs, it is in React-Native using typescript.
Of course, as it's not a priority, we can't give an ETA.

We thought to make #Fediplan a multi-platforms app (iOS, Android, web).
What do you think about this idea?

  • Interesting (30%, 16 votes)
  • Web app is enough (1%, 1 vote)
  • I don't use FediPlan (67%, 35 votes)

- Fix previous scheduled messages not displayed when scrolling
- Display dates depending of the browser timezone
- Move logout item at the end of the menu
- Fix custom emoji not displayed in screen name
- Change titles for schedule/scheduled pages

#Fediplan and our custom #FDroid repo have been moved in the new server.

The work with #FediPlan is almost finished (testing cycle).
Each dependency is up-to-date and it works with PHP 8+
If you want to report issues or suggest enhancements, please check the #FramaGit repo at framagit.org/tom79/fediplan

The new #Fedilab website uses Material design from #BeerCss beercss.com/

We started to upgrade #FediPlan and we might switch to this new design.

PS: Currently, you need first to upload media before adding a description with FediPlan.

In the coming month, we will update #Fediplan
This is a web app to schedule your messages.
