Hero of the Russian Federation Major Marat Tibilov died while performing a combat mission in the Kursk region, the Russian National Guard reports.

Tibilov is the commander of the Russian National Guard special forces fire group in the Kursk direction. He and his fighters participated in repelling the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack in the Berdin region in February.
