Die torpedierte Konstituierung des Landtags in Erfurt durch die AfD ist in der bundesdeutschen Geschichte beispiellos. Sie zeigt, was die Partei zumindest in Thüringen will: das Parlament verächtlich machen.
Und sind jetzt wieder alle Politiker und Medien überrascht? Geht jetzt wieder das große "Entzaubern" los? Das "inhaltliche Stellen"? Ist ja nicht so, dass das absehbar gewesen wäre. Oder gar Millionen von Menschen bundesweit über fucking MONATE hinweg dagegen demonstriert haben...
Meine Politverdrossenheit wird täglich größer - ich werde dennoch wählen, auch wenn es "nur" eine Stimme sein wird, aber die bekommt die Demokratie. Oder die Partei, die diese noch am meisten vertritt.
@wonka Das BSW kann ich leider überhaupt nicht einschätzen. Hab auch keine Ahnung, was die da auf Landesebene so an Personal haben, und ob da alle nur stets an den Lippen ihrer Kaiserin hängen, oder ob es da auch eine gewisse Varianz an Ansichten innerhalb der Partei gibt. @moskitokoenig
@wonka Meine Einschätzung ist, BSW ist hauptsächlich gegründet geworden, naja erstmal aus Narzissmus, aber politisch um die zukünftigen AfD-Aussteiger aufzufangen. Geht eventuell gar nicht so sehr darum, was sie haben, sondern was sie bekommen werden.
Und ich werde den Gedanken nicht los, daß sie die Hufeisentheorie als Anleitung verstanden haben.
@gebbo Naja, vorher konnte man es eben nur erkennen. Jetzt kann man es auch sehen. Das ist für Kurzstreckendenker schon ein entscheidender Unterschied.

PhoneBlock ist eine von der PhoneBlock-Community gepflegte Liste mit Telefonnummern, die unter Spamverdacht stehen. Diese Telefonliste wird in Deinem Internet-Router "FRITZ!Box" als Sperrliste eingerichtet. So kann Deine Fritz!Box automatisch alle Anrufer blockieren, die als agressive Telefonwerbung, Telefonterror, oder Telefonbetrüger bekannt sind. Du musst nicht mehr von Hand Rufnummernbereiche sperren, denn Deine Fritz!Box aktualisiert die Sperrliste jede Nacht automatisch. Sobald eine Nummer in diese Sperrliste aufgenommen ist, weist Deine FRITZ!Box Anrufer mit dieser Nummer automatisch ab. Das Telefon bleibt stumm.
@7666 We updated the post, we were talking about an R730 here. We're currently preparing both an R710 and R730 for expanding redundancy. It's not a hardware platform we "believe in", it's just what people donated to us.
If someone has more or better hardware to give, we'll happily take it.
And we just bricked a PSU from the R730 by attempting a firmware update. Now we know that was a bad idea.
Indeed. Also, we think that chances are rather high to get hardware locally. The call just needs to reach the correct people.
But if you have hardware to donate, check for local groups and collectives. There are hackspaces and other collectives in many places around the world. ~f
@snaki Forwarded the offer, but it might not fit. Since we're mostly stretched thin on human resources, having servers that "just work" with only minor modifications would probably bring us further.
I do have an old PowerEdge 2950 Gen 3 (I think) laying around I no longer use (without drives ofc).
Does guzzle a _lot_ of energy though (even with the single socket setup it has rn) so I doubt it's worth it still, but feel free to let me know if you guys are interested anyways and we can work something out. Shipping would be from The Netherlands.
Additionally, I have a Dell PowerConnect 2748 as well (comes with 2xSFP 1Gbps fiber optic modules).
@finlaydag33k thank you for the offer. The server seems to be really old. Although we consider to use really old hardware for offsite systems (such as on-demand CI runs), it will realistically take one or two years to get there, and we might have better options by then that are more energy-efficient.
@finlaydag33k Currently, we do not operate the network on our own, so the switch might not immediately be useful. It would be, if we did that.
The only thing we plan to operate is network connection for our Ceph cluster, but it requires higher bandwidth unfortunately. I hope you can find another good use for the switch.
