Today we announce our decision to stop activities on the main GÉANT profiles on the X social media platform (Formerly Known As Twitter) as of 2 May 2024.Leonardo Marino (GÉANT CONNECT Online)
As of 2 May, we will stop using X (formerly Twitter).
The reason is that X no longer matches SURF's public values such as humanity, autonomy and justice.
Also, the reach is declining on X and more and more academics and researchers are leaving the platform.

Introducing some of the new #Forgejo features now available on Codeberg (the thread will be extended over the next days):
You can now set your pronouns in your user settings, and they will display on your profile.
If you link to code in an issue, these will now show up as a preview, see codeberg.org/forgejo/forgejo/i… for example.
Drop IsDeleted from action (activity) table
The Forgejo action (= activity, not the CI) table has a field "IsDeleted" (is_deleted) in database. Sometimes, actions are not removed from the database, but only marked as deleted. I suggest to get rid of this field.Codeberg.org

Results are generated with git-grep on the fly. We are working on integration with an external search index and also making progress there, but it will take some more time until this is ready.
