En todo caso al desbrozar los olivos yo les dejo algunas plantitas. Nunca vi que esto esté demostrado pero creo q al olivo le gustará tener una planta medicinal tan potente dándose caricias entre raíces.

Wenn ihr euren Hühnern mal beigebracht habt, dass #Brennnesseln super gesundes, eiweißreiches Futter sind, bekommt ihr auch in kleinen Gärten so schnell keinen Grünfuttermangel.
Brennesseln wachsen in Trockenperioden auch dann noch, wenn der Rasen schon gelb wird. Zur Not kann man diese kleine Fläche deutlich sparsamer bewässern als eine Grasweide.

I'm a liberal minded independent in a red state who would rather be able to grow and give away food than grow and sell food.
I'm generally hostile to systems imposed on me. I would rather be educated than be legislated.
I roll with the #solarpunk crowd, I am a very experienced and intentionally uncertified #permaculture designer, and want to get to the position where I can give good hearted strangers land to homestead on.
Ancient Agriculture mixed with permaculture/Solarpunk is the way.

Is there an edible mushroom that is able to grow on conifers?
Context:
In agroforestry systems we often intervene to reduce growth of less helpful trees in the system. I prefer to do this with as little harm (compaction, noise, felling damage) as possible. Some saprophytic mushrooms like leatiporus, pleurotus are really good at this, while producing food from low edibility rated trees like Robinia along the way.

In Austria and probably other German speaking countries these are called Barbarazweigerl.
Barbara referring to St. Barbara and Zweigerl meaning twigs.
Typically, the cuttings come from fruit trees. I have used wild cherry and Forsythia, both also traditional.
They come in on St. Barbara’s day (4 December) and should flower by around Christmas. Mine never do, they have only just started to flower a couple of days ago.
Admittedly, not exactly impressive but I have found a few ideas for how to help them to do better next year.
