My partner and I are planning out a short comic around the Sri Lankan ghost story, Mahasona (my partner is from Sri Lanka).

These are a few sketches I did related to that.

We decided Gotaimbara is a good cook - that's not necessarily canon. Also, we weren't sure what Gotaimbara's wife's name was, so we named her "Puthama" after my partner's grandmother.

In a drunken fight, Gotaimbara accidentally kicks Ritigala's head off and is saying "Oh shit" Below it says "BAD TIMES" To the side, Puthama is pointing and saying "Called it."
Ritigala is drinking raa and casually flexing while Gotaimbara drunkenly says "Yo *hic* yo, this's the guy! M'boy Ritigala be squishin' foes like avacados..."
Gotaimbara is cooking and says, "Ah, Puthama, would you taste-test the jackfruit curry?" Puthama says, "sure" She sips the curry and is overwhelmed by flavor, saying, "I think my life just truly began"
