And because today is also #MeerMittwoch, I'm sending you one of my favourite photos from Ireland for the occasion, with such light during the sunset as I've never seen before, as colourful as I hope the NewYear will be for you.

A picture of the sunset on the coast of Sligo. You can see the sea and a narrow hilly coastline coming into the picture from the left on the horizon. The calm sea in the foreground and the partly cloudy sky appear in intense bright colours between pink and purple. The setting sun on the horizon is partially obscured by a band of cloud, but still shines in a warm yellow-orange light. Experiencing this sunset was like being a part of it, not just looking at it, but being completely enveloped in its colourful light. Ein Bild des Sonnenuntergangs an der Küste von Sligo. Zu sehen ist das Meer und eine schmale hügelige Küstenlinie, die von links ins Bild kommend am Horizont liegt. Das ruhige Meer im Vordergrund und der zum Teil wolkige Himmel scheinen in intensiven bunten Farben zwischen rosa und lila. Die untergehende Sonne am Horizont wird teilweise von einem Wolkenband verdeckt, strahlt aber dennoch in einem warmen gelborangenen Licht. Diesen Sonnenuntergang zu erleben war, als ob ich ein Teil davon war und ihn nicht nur ansah, sondern in seinem bunten Licht ganz und gar eingehüllt war.
