I've been visiting Little Free Libraries and dropping my #solarpunk zines and a funny thing is happening...
Some of the LFLs are *empty* and some are *stuffed* and I'm taking books from the latter and dropping them in the former.
I'm redistributing book wealth. LOL

in Britain its common to use the old red telephone box that was installed in many villages during 20th century for this purpose - the remaining ones are listed buildings so have to be preserved, but British Telecom will remove the payphone if it isn't used much and there is good LTE mobile phone signal
(this map shows a combination of all the various types of free libraries and BookCrossing)

i like to "catch and release" books from the fullest ones, add Bookcrossing tags, (we're mothdotmonster on there btw!) and then put them into ones that frequently empty. the act of purposefully swapping books between them is one my bother calls "cross-pollination".

And I love calling it "cross pollination"
