MAGA to rest of world: Buy our Made in USA food products. btw it contains human shit, lead, wood pulp, and dozens of dangerous chemicals you've banned years ago.
VEVEY, SWITZERLAND—With the food conglomerate saying the acquisition made sense given its longstanding strategic partnership with the pathogen, Nestlé released a statement Friday confirming it had purchased E. coli for $2.3 billion.
Indeed. French and Italian shoppers at their stunning markets just can't get enough of that quality produce. I mean Poulet de Bresse, Coquille St Jaques, White Bordeux, who would eat that crap?
some years ago a 🇩🇪 scientist who had been asked about chlorinated chicken from the #US answered: oh, the chlorination is no problem - you should ask why they think they have to….
@ewos1986 I am going to have to go look this up because this because this is the first I’ve seen the phrase “chlorinated chicken”, but it might explain why the last time I got chicken fingers from the local Chinese restaurant I had to throw them away because they tasted like bleach.
That actually makes me feel better because I pictured raw chicken sitting near a bleach bucket in their kitchen and some kind of cross contamination happening so I’ve never purchased food from them again.
@maggiejk @ewos1986 chicken from the USA is banned in the EU and U.K. because US chicken husbandry is so bad the poor birds are prone to sores and boils. Washing chicken meat in chlorinated water is used in the US poultry industry to try ensure that meat has low levels of harmful bacteria, viruses and other contaminants. Us Europeans say a big No and F off to that.
A Vermont firm is recalling more than 1,700 pounds of butter because it may be contaminated with coliform, a type of bacteria found in fecal matter. Agri-Mark Inc.
don't worry! They'll have those recalls eliminated by the end of the year. By firing every regulator that could possibly enforce them and repealing all the laws that let anyone hold the companies accountable.
@staringatclouds The problem is when something is so industrialized that you need to use chemicals to "clean" and stop the propagation of bacteria because of that industrialized process. At that point, it's difficult to call it "food".
People in Europe do eat chicken and yet, nobody is using bleach.
It's like some bread in the US cannot legally be called "bread" in Europe because of all the crap and artificial stuff it contains.
Trump-Musk MAGAT regime wants to undo not just the Civil Rights era and New Deal, but also the Progressive era Federal Meat Inspection Act, Pure Food & Drug Laws... and pretty much everything back to the Grant Administration birthright citizenship. (They no doubt wish to undo the Lincoln administration as well, but are generally not yet saying so out loud.)
'I Can't Believe it's Not Better' can be both the cry of the Trump voter facing the world they voted for, and the branding on the tub of what passes for butter post FDA.

With no regulation there will be no recalls.

And we remove 100% of the e-coli that's in the shit we wash off
There may be some left in the shit we don't wash off though, maybe just don't eat that bit
