Any approach where one doesn’t consider Trump to be hostile unless you are being absolutely submissive is foolish. He will bully relentlessly and over things that are big and small. He definitely does not like or respect European or NATO “allies” and is very much looking for opportunities to force them into submission because he feels they have looked down on him. The only remedy for that is endlessly giving in to his demands and even then he is likely to demand some trophies of humiliation to be offered up. #trump #Europe
